PPA Park Games - Kickball Edition

Please join PPA for our second Park Games – Kickball Edition! After lots of fun at the Spike ball event a month ago (attached picture), the PPA is ready for another sporty afternoon during which you can join the games, meet new fellow postdocs, or just hang out in the park! The event will take place at the Penn Park (next to tennis courts, map provided on flyer) on Saturday September 16th from 2:00-5:00 PM. Postdocs from ALL INSTITUTIONS (e.g., Penn, CHOP, Monell, Swarthmore, Wistar, etc.) AND ALL SCHOOLS (e.g., PSOM, SEAS, SAS, Annenberg, Wharton, Penn Carey, etc), as well as ANY SPORTS FANATIC (e.g., family, kids, friends, etc)!   

Kickball is an extremely fun sport which requires NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE. It is basically softball played with a larger, softer bouncier ball that is rolled and kicked for kickers to try and get round bases while fielders can get them out by getting the ball to the base before them. We will also incorporate some dodgeball elements to make things more exciting! Even if you don't want to play it was a fun afternoon out last time.
